Adam Sandler SNL

Plot Summary: Before he was Happy Gilmore, Little Nicky, The Waterboy, or Billy Madison, Adam Sandler was doing Saturday Night Live playing hilarious characters and singing hilarious songs like the Hanukkah song and Christmas song. Watch Adam act in his own star studded way as Canteen Boy, Cajun Man, Opera Man, and much more!

Carter Review: I used to love these days of SNL. Adam was probably my favorite too. Highlights include easy to make Halloween costumes, Opera Man's rendition of Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, and The Denise Show (where he plays an obsessive ex-boyfriend). Good for an occasional laugh; unless you don't like this stuff, then it's not so good.

Baby Einstein

The Baby Einstein movies are good enough.
Baby Mozart, Baby Bach and Baby Shakespeare are peaceful movies with bright colors. Both my babies have liked them.
I do like the Baby's First Moves DVD, it is fun to follow along with the activities, and they are simple enough that Viana could do them when she was about 18 months old.
The Signing video is too slow for me as an educated signer. But, if you do not have any ASL background, then I think they are a great way to introduce signs to your baby.

Arabian Nights

Plot Summary: To cure a prince's murderous madness, Scheherezade tells him story after wondrous story which include the tales of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and Aladdin and his Wonderful Lamp. All the while, the Sultan's villainous brother is making plans of his own and Scheherezade's stories are more useful against him than anyone can anticipate.

Carter Review: This is a gem of a made-for-TV movie. It is 3 hours long, but don't be frightened by that. It is a GREAT movie to watch in bits and pieces since it is a conglomeration of so many different stories. The mini-stories are magical, as is the overall story.
